In my life I was lucky enough to meet Enrico and Angela. Talking at dinner I understood how much Angela wanted to travel back in time so that her Enrico wouldn’t eat that damn sugar cube… and the first answer I gave her was that going back in time to change events is rather difficult to do and said => it’s quiet impossible. I felt so sorry, my heart was sad because I knew how much she cared about that… and my broken neuron started spinning bordering fantasy. I said that time travel could happen only between two realities (houses, spaceships, towns, planets) that have different and distorted times. For example I live on Earth and at time 0 I start living in a house where time is slowed down 1000 times compared to terrestrial time; if I spend 1 year inside my house and Earth completes 1000 revolution motions around the Sun, after a year I get out of my house and I find out I travelled in time… 1000 years in the future. This is understandable and reliable…

Now let’s try this reasoning and suppose that time 0 Earth hosts 3 communities, the terrestrial one, one slowed-down 100 times and one sped-up 100 times. Giulio and Alessandro, 2 elements of the slowed-up time are friends and live peacefully together; Alessandro knows he’ll leave for the terrestrial community and Giulio has the possibility to time travel (see above) and go to the sped-up-100-times community; in this new community that marked past history, contextually the terrestrial one, he can follow and understand what Alessandro’s and people on Earth’s future will look like. If he travelled back in time and went back to his original community, he could tell Alessandro what will happen to him.

This is the way… set off from the past with a future destination to modify the nearing present, even the terrestrial one… is this the only possibility to change our future (at least someone’s)… and can the future that awaits all of us be modified?…

Angela, this is the only possibility I can come up with, it might look like science-fiction but everything is based on a rational logic that still need an experimental test but seeing it in my mind is already a success.

Angela, but if someone from the past who knew our Enrico’s future intervened to change our Enrico’s destiny, are we sure he would have met you at the radio? Let’s say that the variables could become so many that getting the present one right would be very hard… unless Enrico’s new future were written and meeting you would be his destiny anyway… Sorry Angela but I can’t do more than this… A hug to both of you…

Now let’s examine other hypothesis… In old texts and depictions “soothsayers” are described as people who can predict the future… Were they people who could actually know and change the future modifying the present?… how were they “informed”? How much were they influenced by “dreams”?… Can I genetically intervene by time travelling? Can I bring with me objects that can make the difference?…

Recently (for the last few decades) “apparitions” thanks to which the future of some events not far from the present are being discussed… let’s think about it carefully and let’s not take anything for granted…

Anyway the only possibility to modify our future is set off from the past with a future destination and go back to the present to act accordingly… If it were like this, but especially if it were available to lots of people, it would be a constant war for people to establish themselves limiting others… it would be still a social disaster unless our “interest” were moved by noble actions and ventures… or if everything had a NEUTRAL goal…

Whatever the truth, it’s going to be hard… before acting and understanding we have to evolve in something better otherwise it’s better to stay ignorant… without an univocal consciousness we are nothing but animals who choose their own interest and act following their instinct… Something that can only make you shiver…
